Urbane Intervention (Mönchengladbach) \ Holz \ Stahlkabel \ 2015   Die Formen selbst, wie schon im Titel angedeutet, thematisieren die Tatsache, dass die moderne, kapitalistische Gesellschaft sehr stark von Multitasking und Steigerung von Leistungsfähigkeit und Effizienz geprägt ist; dieser Druck, immer schneller und immer mehr zu produzieren, zu leisten, hat schwerwiegende Konsequenzen auf die Gesellschaft als Ganzes, aber auch auf die Psyche und den Körper des Einzelnen. Indem die Installation Holzformen ‚eins nach dem anderen‘, in schrittweiser Reihenfolge, aneinanderfügt, wird bewusst ein Gegenpunkt zum Multitasking-Zwang der Leistungsgesellschaft gesetzt.

Urban intervention (Mönchengladbach) \ wood \ steel cable \ 2015   The objects themselves, as indicated in the title, draw on the fact that our modern capitalistic society is profoundly shaped by the pressure to multitask and to increase productivity and efficiency. This pressure to produce more and more, faster and faster all the time has serious consequences on society as a whole, but also on the mental and physical health of individuals. Putting wooden shapes together ‘one after the other’ in stepwise sequences, this installation then intends to set a counterpoint to the forced multitasking of the modern performance- and achievement-oriented society.
